A Glance at the Jaguar F-PACE SVR

The Magnificent Beast. The Jaguar F-PACE SVR, a performance crossover that throw conventional, safe British design out the window in favor of something less refined, more aggressive, and far more fun. The four-door suburban crawler style hides beneath it the engine of a sports car, subtle enough to keep the neighbors from complaining, but with performance (and noise) to turn every head on the road.

The exterior of the Jaguar F-PACE SVR isn’t anything to specifically revel at, with no loud or outrageous designs that would tell other drivers exactly what your vehicle can do. Even the badging is subtle, with a small, red and black SVR on both the front grille and rear trunk. Other noticeable changes from the day-to-day design include a rear spoiler, special bumpers, and more, but they’re not so outrageous as to scream that this is a performance vehicle. Admittedly though, the altered body parts are not just for show; the spoiler helps keep the vehicle grounded, new fender vents keep the engine better cooled, and the larger wheels and tires mean better traction and vehicle acceleration.Image result for fpace svr"

The interior has most of the standard F-PACE accessories as well, with some alterations befitting a vehicle designed by the Special Vehicle Operations of Jaguar-Land Rover. Embossed SVR logos in the headrests of bolstered front sport seats, with unique options for color and stitching ensure a wide array of customization. But one of the most praised features available at on the Jaguar F-PACE SVR is the removal of the knob shifter in place of the SportShift gear selector; this small change makes the SVR feel so much sportier than the standard F-PACE variant.

But the most exciting feature of the Jaguar F-PACE SVR has to be the power that drives the whole vehicle. With a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine creating 550 horsepower, the F-PACE SVR can reach 0-60 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. But if we’re being honest, the 0-60 isn’t the point of such a large engine; instead, the exceptional feeling of torque that slams you back as the vehicle shifts through gears and reaching a top speed of 179 miles per hour in a large SUV is the real goal.

Driving the Jaguar F-PACE SVR is like driving a muscle car that has room for the whole family and comforts you could never find in any muscle car. But don’t just take my word for it, as we have available inventory at Jaguar Wichita for test drive today!
