Introducing the all new, all-electric Jaguar I-Pace SUV

The world is an ever growing, changing place, within which we’ve developed technology to match our everyday needs. From refrigerators to keep our food fresh, cell phones to makes calls and stay in contact (as well as stay distracted), to the vehicles which drive us to and from work, home, and wherever else our desires so take us. The initial idea of vehicles hasn’t changed too much from the initial conception of the automobile; use a motor to drive power to the wheels of the vehicle, thus moving it.

Within that realm of thought, automobiles haven’t seen any design changes for years. But the world is changing in its resource needs, and so do those changes echo within the automobile industry: introducing the all-new Jaguar I-PACE, a pure Battery Electric Vehicle, both thrilling to look at and drive!

One of our sales team member, Derek Parris, recently had the opportunity to join a training session out in California, featuring the all-new Jaguar I-PACE: in the words of Mr. Parris, ‘although you could see the hesitance of many of the dealer staff before being introduced to the I-PACE, after the first day of training, there was not a person left unconvinced that the I-PACE and electric vehicles are the future.’

The brand new Jaguar I-PACE meets all the needs of consumers, from performance to practicality. Instant torque and All Wheel Drive traction give the I-PACE a 0-60 of 4.5 seconds, faster than a 2018 Porsche Cayman! Meanwhile, with two synchronous electric motors, the I-PACE generates 394 horsepower and 512 Lb-Ft of torque!

On the practicality side, the I-PACE base has a range of 240 miles, more than enough for a week of commuting! Charging through a Jaguar approved home charger, the I-PACE can be fully charged overnight, with public chargers nationwide that will fully charge in just under 45 minutes!  Meanwhile on the interior, a dual touchscreen system called the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system makes it simple to control all the car’s technologies, including the standard 4G WiFi hotspot. Other features include an application for your phone to assist in charging, vehicle status, and security tracking as well as personal assistant integration such as Amazon’s Alexa or Apple’s Siri!

Safety is not to be forgotten though, in the brand new I-PACE: The battery itself has a safety cell built around it, which would require a force equal to the vehicle being dropped from a 15-story building onto a flagpole to be damaged. The driver assistance standard features include emergency braking, driver condition monitor which is designed to detect if the driver has becomes drowsy, lane keep assist, rear camera, and more! At speeds below 12 miles per hour, the I-PACE even emits an external acoustic signal to help make pedestrians aware of the car’s presence!
